Auto Portability's Regulatory Framework
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has promulgated important guidance for RCH's Auto Portability program: Advisory Opinion 2018-01A, issued 11/6/18, and their Prohibited Transaction Exemption (PTE) 2019-02, finalized & published 7/30/19.
Together, the DOL's two actions defined the regulatory framework that Auto Portability adheres to, including important program parameters, fiduciary responsibilities, participant communications, disclosures & fees and other important features.
