We are looking for a experienced Business Systems Analyst. The ideal candidate will:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand, elicit and document the business processes and needs through brainstorming sessions and user elicitation sessions developing both written and visual depiction of process flows.
  • Function as a liaison between users, business units and IT to groom requirements and facilitate User Acceptance Testing during the development cycle
  • Write requirements, conduct follow-up sessions with users to refine, finalize, and obtain approval of requirements from identified key stakeholders.
  • Design new business functionality by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
  • Serve as the ultimate facilitator between business and IT in truly understanding the business needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of the effort through the project lifecycle.
  • Effectively communicate and work with team members, other departments, and business leadership.

  • Pay Range: 87k to 97k annually

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5 or more years of Business Analyst experience
    • Business and technical experience and expertise
    • Prior experience in a Financial Service setting highly desirable
    • Experienced analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, lead others, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems.
    • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills to clearly articulate technical designs and business concepts
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and time-management abilities
    • Ability to author and prepare Business Requirements document (BRD), Functional System Design documents (FSD), user stories, functional specifications, technical requirements, use cases, and UAT plan
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Proficient in Atlassian Jira
    • SQL knowledge and skills preferred
    • Industry knowledge within Financial Services preferred
    • Ability to explain the logic behind analysis and express ideas clearly and concisely
    • Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
    • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
