We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer.
The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for development of test cases, implementation/execution of test plans and test cases, and defect tracking.
The essential functions of this role:
- Develop, maintain, and execute reusable automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Analyze, report, and document test results. Create detailed and accurate defect reports. Follows all defects through resolution and closure
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify areas to automate tests
- Develops and writes detail-oriented testing scripts and plans to verify that programs function as expected according to both technical and user requirements.
- Participates in both Manual and Automated Testing
- Effectively works with peers, team members, and other departments.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience creating Automated Browser Tests with Selenium in C#
- Experience testing complex web applications in an automated fashion as well as manually.
- Basic knowledge in SQL, JavaScript/HTML is preferred (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in fast past environment
- Knowledge of the Agile SDLC
The position also requires troubleshooting skills; the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing; ability to effectively work with limited supervision and to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated; demonstrated ability to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; superior analytical and time management skills; ability to take the initiative in development and completion of projects.
Education/Certifications: BS Computer Science/MIS/Information Technology/Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Required: 3 or more years of relevant experience.
Pay Rate: $90-$100K Annually
