Boston Research Group Study Identifies Opportunities to Improve the Nation’s Defined Contribution System; Cites Retirement Clearinghouse Case Study as a Model Solution
Charlotte, NC (April 29, 2013) – On Thursday, April 25th, 2013 Boston Research Group (BRG) released a white paper identifying opportunities to ease job-changers’ ability to move savings between retirement plans, fixing flaws in the defined contribution system, deterring bad decision-making and saving money.
The white paper, authored by BRG’s Warren Cormier, studies one large plan sponsor's extremely successful experience with a new model of DC plan practices and services. BRG is calling on industry leaders to examine this model more fully to determine if it can be applied on a broader basis and deliver similarly successful results.
“I'm proud to note that the service provider that implemented these programs was none other than Retirement Clearinghouse,” said RCH President & CEO Spencer Williams.
The white paper, entitled “Eliminating Friction and Leaks in America’s Defined Contribution System: Fixing the Systemic Breakdowns that Impact Every Sponsor, Participant and Provider,” is available at this link.
